Schedule a visit for your class today

Please Note: This service is only for schools located in Santa Monica.

Class visits can be scheduled one of two ways:

Monthly Visits - usually scheduled every four weeks (or as needed). Includes story presentations, book talks, and information literacy. Please notify the children’s librarian at least one week prior to your visit if you have a specific topic or subject you would like covered.

Single Visit / Library Tour – scheduled as space is available. Consists of a general library orientation, short story presentation (younger classes) and/or introduction to library resources (older classes).

To schedule a visit to one of the Santa Monica Public Libraries:

1) Decide which of the four libraries you wish to visit.

2) Contact the Youth Services Librarian at the library you have selected.
